Early this month, I attended a very special Moxie Talk event that focused on skills for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award! I had a great time learning from Girl Scouts who earned their Gold Award and doing activities to get me thinking about the Gold Award!
I turned 16 this month, and had a birthday party with some of my friends to celebrate! Here are some pictures from my party!
Also, I participated in a two week summer program, the Future Physicians Summer Enrichment Program (FPSEP) at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, is an intensive summer camp experience for high school students who want to explore their interest in medicine. I really enjoyed the anatomy lab, taking a trip to Beaumont Troy, and creating an infographic about obesity and its associated medical conditions.
