Supporting the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations
Recently, I contacted my U.S. representative and two senators to inform the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that there are better metrics to drive and improve the performance of organ procurement organizations. I am so honored to have been able to advocate for this cause to our legislators!
You can do this as well by going to this link: https://takeaction.aopo.org/takeaction/9/. It will identify your specific lawmakers once you enter in your home address and walk you through the process and then automatically send an email with concerns and recommendations to the lawmakers.
