As President of Gift8Lives club at Troy High, I have been working with the other officers to make preparations for our first virtual meeting, where we can add more names to the organ donor registry, now that the school year is in full swing!
The first virtual Gift8Lives meeting will be this coming Wednesday, September 23rd at 2:30pm. Ms. Costello from Baker Middle School will also be joining us to share her experience as a kidney recipient! She was the inspiration behind starting this club, so don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn more about spreading awareness of organ donation! Also, ClubMed (which I am the president of) had a great turnout for our first virtual meeting on September 14th. We are so grateful that even in the midst of a pandemic, we have people eager to be a part of our club and learn more about the medical field. Our next meeting will be on September 28th, and a Physical Therapist will be speaking to the members. Don't miss it!
